Social Work
Social Workers provide psychosocial support to assist with adjustment related problems for those who have experienced trauma, post-concussion and/or acquired brain injury, spinal cord injuries and chronic pain.
What we know about trauma is that when one person in the family is affected, the entire family system suffers.
For this reason, we offer counseling to support individuals, couples and families. Our counseling services help to enhance and foster a sense of resiliency through providing psychoeducation and evidence based treatments.
Social work associates assist to develop individualized treatment plans which are client focused and strengths based, focusing on the emotional and social adaptation required following an injury.
Our services offer clients the opportunity to meet for counselling sessions in clinic or in their home.
